MUSASA NKARA
Most of the small holder producers with whom Musasa Dukunde Kawa works own less than a quarter of a hectare of land, where they cultivate an average of 250 - 300 coffee trees each as well as other subsistence food crops such as maize and beans. Nkara’s coffee grows in fertile loamy soil with consistent temperatures of 17-18 degrees celcius and annual rainfall of 1200-1300mm, contributing to the unique flavour profile of it’s beans.
