A fully washed and sun dried coffee from Guatemala

Finca Santa Isabel is a 300 hectare farm sitting 1400-1600metres above sea level in the Coban region of Guatemala. Luis Valdes and his son manage the farm that was acquired in 1895. Santa Isabel trains and employs 40 permanent workers year-round with a further 500 seasonal staff for the harvest period.

Flavours of Hazelnut, Apricot & Bergamot

On the first taste, you might mistake this for a black tea, but soon a rich yet subtle hazelnut bitterness begins to emerge. Beneath it, you’ll discover a sweet and juicy character that lingers gently in the background throughout the cup. As the coffee cools, its layers begin to reveal themselves, with a delicate sweetness of apricot leading into a refreshing bergamot finish. Well balanced and wonderfully complex, this cup continually teases the senses, revealing new layers of flavour with every sip.
