Musasa Ruli 250g
Musasa Ruli 250g
Roasting Tuesday 4th August.
A natural processed coffee from Rwanda.
Musasa Dukunde Kawa Cooperative operates four washing stations in Rwanda’s high-altitude northwest. Its first station, Ruli, was established in 2003 at nearly 2,000 meters above sea level. Working with smallholder farmers who cultivate just a few hundred coffee trees alongside subsistence crops, the cooperative enables producers to combine their harvests and centrally process cherries, strengthening quality and market access.
What to expect in the cup: This delightful coffee opens with delicate floral notes, gently giving way to the soft, subtle sweetness you may associate with a Braeburn apple. As the cup cools, a lingering sticky sweetness reminiscent of cinder toffee emerges, leaving you reaching for another sip.
This coffee makes a beautifully balanced and flavourful espresso. Adding steamed milk reveals an entirely new side to it. Smooth and creamy, with subtle notes of apple sweetness shining through. Exceptionally delicious.
