Brewing our teas
Brewing our teas is pretty straight forwards but you will get the most out of them if you follow some simple instructions.
Oolong Teas
Use 3g of tea to every 225 ml water.
We suggest a water temperature of 85ºC for oolong teas.
Brew for 3-5 minutes depending on your preferred strength.
Degrees of oxidisation
Oolong teas go through multiple stages of oxidisation each followed by a period of rolling. This allows for layers of complexity to develop which is a defining character of these teas.
Milk or No Milk?
Not all teas take milk well. For those that do the decision to add milk (or sugar) has to be a personal one. Our advice is to always try it black first. You never know, you might prefer it!
